More evidence presented Al-Gore style. We have serious work to do. I’m watching this from a hotel room in Geneva - a symbol of civilised society - and truly saddened by what we’re doing, or rather not doing. I’m here for the next two days exploring a Jewish-Muslim dialogue programme, and what it would look like to bring together social entrepreneurs from both cultures to work together on sustainable ventures. If there’s anything in the world right now that warrants our putting aside our differences and working together, surely it’s the climate crisis.

Interesting article in the FT this morning where Lord Stern talked about how the economic impact of global warming has been underestimated by a large amount. He also spoke about how the current credit crunch is distracting people from the global warming issue vis a vis its impact on the economy. Anyway the article is below (though I’m guessing link will expire in a few days and only be accessible to subscribers)

Hello Menka (if this is you) -
I found your site through The Great Pyramid, which I also made a reservation for. I just saw a documentary about the TED conference - “The Future We Will Create” - if you haven’t seen it i recommend it highly. I was so inspired. Unlike many others who signed up for the pyramid, your site is thought provoking. I will check in again.
