I completely agree that we're seeing more and more, often unexpected, alliances - cross-culture, cross-sector, cross-boundary. What The Hub is aiming to do - to provide a physical space for such cross-fertilisation - is immensly important and I watch with interest the expansion of The Hub's ideas globally.

You mention 'disparate agendas'. I am also hopeful that by physically bringing together different players in the same space, they will identify similarities in their agendas. Working together, separate agendas can often converge for mutual gain, with the added bonus that the players bring different skills and experience to the table, making it more likely that the adapted, joint agenda can successfully lead to positive outcomes for all the parties.

People are often stimulated by controversy and new perspectives, let's provide opportunities to stretch our wings outside our comfortable silo and gain together!
